Jacob, Steven and Issac worked miracles in the very shallow crawl space under our home. It required 5 steel beams and 15 jacks to support failing beams. They were professional, communicated well and were respectful of our space and home. Thank you for going above and beyond to do this work with the minimal space for access. They cut a small (12×6) access in the cinder block foundation to bring in the steel beams and were able to use the interior crawlspace access to bring in the rest of the materials. I was so relieved the work could be done properly without damaging the kitchen tile floor and stone countertops.

I have had one problem after another. I am still waiting for them to fix the work they did wrong and pay for damages they made on stuff they should not have touched….Update the job is finished and FSM has agreed to correct the issues and came out yesterday and corrected the issues. They replaced the down spout and have placed the pipe behind the drywall as I requested. They agreed to help pay for part of the wall repair. I was always responsible for replacing the drywall and removing it. I am glad FSM has stood up and took responsibility.

I have used Foundation Systems of Michigan (now Groundworks) since 2014. They fixed foundation leaks back then and installed a new sump pump. Since then, I've had them out every year to service the pump and inspect the foundation. Their technicians are always excellent – professional and experienced. The technician who came out this year, Marshall, was fantastic. He had done prep work for the service call before arriving, which made the visit that much more efficient. The reasons for his recommendations were presented clearly. All in all, it was a visit that reinforced my strong positive view of Groundworks. I'm glad that I chose them over 10 years ago and will certainly continue to work with them in the future.

First, Rana explained the process carefully, and readily returned phoned questions several times before the work was done. The experienced, professional team of Marco M, Mario S and Noel G carried through. Even with some adjustments there was no delay, while they carefully took time to explain to us each step of the process. Our basement was in good hands with these impressive craftsmen.

When we had FSM do the basement at our house in Warren, Brian Maike and his team were outstanding. I wish everyone I did business with was as polite and professional. When the city inspector came out, he told me: āI will inspect the work because itās my job. But from experience I can tell you before I begin FSM has done everything as it should be done.ā He took me through the inspection and the key points that substantiated his claim. When my daughter was recently considering the purchase of a home, her realtor pointed out FSM had waterproofed the basement. That was a contributing factor in her decision to purchase the home.

Carter S. and Riley G. did a great job on our driveway! The cement slabs in the driveway had sunk and crackedāone was at least 2ā or more which made driving into the garage a bumpy experience. But they got the slabs lifted, repaired the cracks, and caulked the joints between slabs. They even wrote down what caulk we should use to do the other joints if we choose to do that. No more sinking driveway! And we greatly appreciate the companyās folllow-up where they will come check their work annually for 5 years.

Charles is a true professional- knowledgeable, great communicator, and very patient. Because of Charles, I feel confident in my understanding of the state of my crawl space and driveway and, to my genuine surprise as a first time home owner, I feel confident in understanding the work that is to be done and why to do it. Our salesmen Charles explained everything in detail and what we could expect. Our basement guys Marco and his crew did a great job. In and out like they werenāt even there. Last but not least our concrete levelers Rana and David showed up on time explained the process and addressed all concerns we had. Same deal in and out like they werenāt even there. FSM of Traverse City and Josh G are awesome! I bought my house last June knowing the basement got wet and kind of flooded every spring. Last Summer when, (I canāt remember his name) came to do an inspection of the support poles they had installed a year or two before I bought the house he sold me on getting the whole basement water proofed. Iāll tell you one thing. If you think you need it done, but canāt afford it, you need to find a way to afford it. I didnāt realize how musty and stinky my house was before I had FSM do the work plus getting the awesome dehumidifier. They just came to do their annual inspection of everything and I only had one problem or rather question. I went up stairs to use the bathroom and when I came back downstairs Josh already had gotten me some dates for warranty work. I feel like I just doubled the value of my home by having them come in. Thank you FSM!

Ryan came out to do an inspection and was fantastic. He took the time to really listen to my concerns, clearly explained what to look for and walked me through whether there was an issue or not. His recommendations were thoughtful and professional. While I didnāt move forward with any work through FSM, that was strictly due to timing and budgetāmy initial concern thankfully turned out to be a non-issue. I genuinely recommend FSM to anyone in need. Theyāre informative, fair, and not pushy at all. Ryan especially stood out for his honesty and professionalism. Definitely worth checking out!

After Mark's inspection he determined that I had a gray water plumbing leak and a crawl space cover leaking but no need for his services. Which is amazing compared to the competition Ayers Basement that tried to sell 57K worth of service.Mark won't sell you what you don't need I highly recommend you ask for him by name. I will be contacting Mark for some under pin foundation work in the spring.Thank you for your honesty!Andre

Im not sure where to start. Our project was big. Tons of water issues with all the snow melt and rain. We have only lived in the house for a year. Reached out to FSM and had a great experience with Adam. Came out the same day and gave us a quote. He didn't pressure us and was straight forward. Fast forward to a week ago. Junior and his team came out and from the beginning I knew we would be taken care of. He walked us through everything. The process, the products, he answered any questions we had and went above and beyond. The entire time they were here they never stopped going above and beyond. They worked their butts off everyday they were here and some days put in well over 12 hours to get it done. Junior made sure to keep us in the loop and managed his team to where things were clean throughout the job. Everything was planned throughout the project day by day and I cant tell you the relief I felt after weeks of uncertainty. I cannot talk this team up enough. We consider them good friends after this experience and if you consider another company I would tell you to SERIOUSLY reconsider. Thank you FSM and a HUGE thanks to Junior, Trent, Chase!!! You guys are the real deal!!

I wanted to acknowledge the FSM team of Dave, Matt and Kiko for the amazing job they did on my home. This was not an easy job due to the VERY limited space they had to work in. They were determined to complete the job. They were all very pleasant and polite. Dave took time to answer all questions and explain everything. They were on time and cleaned everything up when finished. I am so excited with the results! I am not smelling the horrible smell from my crawl space and the house does seem a bit warmer. I also want to mention John L who came out initially and looked over my space and took pictures of everything to get me connected with FSM. He was available and happy to answer all my questions leading up to my project date…which I had a bunchš. Thank you

Had a great experience with Gary. I called him out for what I thought was a water proofing issue and discovered it was actually a plumbing issue. He was incredibly honest and didnāt try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. He also took the time to point out several ASAP maintenance items to help me avoid future headaches. Itās very rare to find that level of honesty and kindness that he has versus just wanting to make money or take advantage. Highly recommend.. GO GARY!!!

I've been an FSM customer since 2014 when at that time, I had a triple backup sump pump installed. During this time I've definitely had a love/hate reationship with them. Sticking to my yearly service commitment, I still fell through the cracks when there was an issue that needed addressing with no answers for a solution. This year, I had the pleasure of Don B. as my service technician and he definitely showed that FSM has knowledgeable and caring technicians. He listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly, giving clear and concise resolve to any questions/concerns I had. FSM definitely need more Don B's on their team. He's only one of two technicians over a course of 11 years that shows FSM in a positive light. Those aren't great odds considering how let down I'd felt by a couple of FSM technicians. Thank you again Don B, for putting the customer first. I appreciate your time and politeness.
