Matt and his crew came to our home to sister a floor joist and install some blocks. They were on time, and they had the skills, tools, and materials for the job. They did skilled work and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Matt's communication with us and his crew was top-notch. He called along the way to give us their arrival time. He explained to his crew what they needed to do and everything went as explained. His communication with us was clear and helpful. We highly recommend Matt and his crew for a job well done and would welcome them back without a doubt.

Over two years ago i had another individual come out, check my foundation and preceded to tell me that my house was going to collapse if my 1/2 drop working towards the main drain, went any further. Saying the only reason the collapse had not occurred yet, was due to the solid poured concrete walls. No solution other than at this point the house will stay standing. With that knowledge my house was on the verge of falling in on itself I finally decided to call sometime later to see if the inevitable was here. Thank goodness I got Mark Dunbar! Wish I would have asked the first time he was out instead of waiting longer. Come to find out all the worry over the past two years was unnecessary! He took the time to explain in detail why the house was good and what to look for in the event something does need to be addressed. You can see Marks passion for delivering correct information while keeping customers interest first and foremost! I’ll definitely be calling him when we need to purchase our quality made whole house dehumidifier!! Thanks again Mark for the phenomenal customer service!!

Every time they’ve come out to do service checks since the install. You get what you pay for and they have definitely earned their cost to me. I would highly recommend them. Mike was our service technician, and he did an outstanding job. He thoroughly explained the inspection process, answered all of our questions, and pointed out a few things to keep an eye on moving forward. Great experience. Was able to easily book an inspection for my first available date. John L. came to the house to look at our problem and expertly formulated a plan. Explained to me what was wrong and what products were best to use to fix the problem. I was able to be placed on the work calendar much sooner than I anticipated. On the service date, foreman Matt K. outlined again the plan for installation of the beam and jacks required to fix our sagging floor. He answered a couple of my questions in clear terms that I could understand. Crew members Xavier T. and Tommy D. were friendly but very professional and highly efficient in their work flow. Matt K called the morning of just to ensure correct service time but FSM uses a texting system to update the customer of everything on the service date. When they’re leaving the shop, when they’ve arrived at the property. Worked flawlessly. All of it exceeded expectations!

Last fall we had water in our basement and to diagnose the issue. John Andrews came to our house and was extremely thorough in explaining what was wrong and how to fix it. He knew we were getting ready to sell and assured us that doing this would create extra value in the house. At first, we were very skeptical at the cost to say the least. But that has been the best decision I have made for my home. It not only got us extra value but gives peace of mind to potential buyers as well.The whole installation was done professionally in 2 days and John was there for any questions or concerns during the whole process. Fast forward to selling our house, buyers have raved about how professionally done the basement work was done. It has brought us multiple offers above asking solely for that fact. Have no hesitation in using groundworks for your basement needs. John is by far their best employee throughout the whole process. Cannot recommend him enough.

Justin Emond arrived at our home to do what we both thought would be a normal annual checkup. Instead, I needed a new battery and a new pump and the crock needed to be flushed. All this was happening in a house where the water and electricity and gas had been shut off as a tree had fallen on our home. He did a fabulous job and improvised using a hose and hooking up to the neighbors’ water so that the crock could get flushed. He also explained to me how these pumps work which I’ve never quite understood. He worked very efficiently and I was most impressed with him and with Foundation Systems Of Michigan.

On 5/14/26 Carter S. leveled our driveway approach for both stalls. He did a wonderful job and it exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with him and the work he did! On 5/14/25 Forman DeShawn, Co-Forman Reggie, and Austin K. installed the footings drainage with sump pump system. We were very impressed with how well they protect our belongings and how hard they worked the entire time there were here. DeShawn explained everything they were doing, and made sure the system was working before they left.
