Just have to say, in what could be one of the worst situations to find yourself, this process was made so much easier with the help of our awesome inspector Rana! She was beyond helpful, courteous, and went above and beyond to try and make everything work out for us. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything in great detail. She reviewed all our options and worked tirelessly with us to find the best possible solution. Not once did she ever make us feel that we were putting her out or wasting her time with our endless questions. Rana, you are the best!

My husband and I had foundation systems of Michigan come out to do our crawlspace. The installers that came were very professional cleaned up after themselves and did a very good job. The installers names were Jonah Hamilton, Logan Dean, Bryant Dozier, and Kiko Hartley. All four of these men did a great job and were very professional. I would definitely recommend having them out to do work at anyone’s home!

I met Brian Maike in August when he came to talk to me about the Aquastop Perimeter Drain System. A friend had already had 3 estimates on her basement and when Brian gave me the cost, it was a little lower and what sold me is the lifetime warranty on the home. David and his crew came out early on a Monday (Dom & Matt) and did a fantastic job making sure the dust from removal of the cement was taken care of and cleaned up afterwards. I noticed the musty smell which was causing mold was taken care of. After 2 inspections by my city, they returned on a Friday to cement the trench. (Eric instead of Matt this time.). They did a great job again carrying all the buckets of cement and again a great clean up job. I’ve already passed along their info because of the great job done by all 5 of them. Brian was very helpful with answering all my questions before, during and at the end of the job.

Without mentioning names, the 'other' company's sump system was incorrectly installed, causing sand to fill the bucket and the drain pipes. …
Without mentioning names, the 'other' company's sump system was incorrectly installed, causing sand to fill the bucket and the drain pipes. Not only did the basement flood, it created a bow on that east wall, weakening an existing bow. No response at all from 'them' to my pleas.So I called FSM – immediate response! Greg Q assessed the situation and stood by me as we resolved things, in stages of 3 visits. Sump bucket is now properly installed, drain system improved upon, basement floor trenches and finger drains to respond to hydrostatic pressure, wall anchors installed where needed. Each repair session consisted of a team of no-nonsense, in-sync, yet very approachable and very respectful hard workers. The house was spotless when they left, inside and out. These folks are serious problem solvers. And just like that, this house finally has a no-nonsense, in-sync dry basement and a solid foundation. Thank you FSM – Team Foreman and Team, and the very responsive and supportive Office, and most definitely, Thank you Greg Q.

We have had our house piered multiple times and each time FSM has delivered a professional, hard working, and highly qualified crew to do the job. The last 2 times it was the great crew of Javier, Austin and Joe.. I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with their work. We haven't had the greatest luck with contractors but that does not apply to FSM…. they have worked hard to deliver true customer satisfaction and set a very high bar for our dealings with other folks. FSM is great!

Justin came out for our annual inspection. He carefully inspected/tested the sump pump, batteries, connections along with the wall anchors and outside connections. Once this was completed, he reviewed all aspects of the inspection with me and alerted me to the amount of humidity in our basement. He made some suggestions of larger dehumidifiers and reminders for our next inspection. He was very thorough and professional.

The job was not the simple project we thought and the crew worked through all the problems with determination to do the best job possible. I wanted to acknowledge the FSM team of Dave, Matt and Kiko for the amazing job they did on my home. This was not an easy job due to the VERY limited space they had to work in. They were determined to complete the job. They were all very pleasant and polite. Dave took time to answer all questions and explain everything. They were on time and cleaned everything up when finished. I am so excited with the results! I am not smelling the horrible smell from my crawl space and the house does seem a bit warmer. Justin Emond arrived at our home to do what we both thought would be a normal annual checkup. Instead, I needed a new battery and a new pump and the crock needed to be flushed. All this was happening in a house where the water and electricity and gas had been shut off as a tree had fallen on our home. He did a fabulous job and improvised using a hose and hooking up to the neighbors’ water so that the crock could get flushed. He also explained to me how these pumps work which I’ve never quite understood. He worked very efficiently and I was most impressed with him and with Foundation Systems Of Michigan.

We called for a free consultation expecting someone to walk around, point out a few things and give us an estimate +/- $5k. Andy Hess arrived, was incredibly professional and took a good 30 – 40 mins inspecting the basement. I’m not someone who knows a lot about how my home functions. He sat with me until he was sure I understood each different offer. While it’s still an expensive project, I do feel that I’m in good hands.

Shane came to our house and explained the entire process for foundation stabilization and what to expect when the work was done. Steve, Austin, and Q arrived about 9 am on the day the work was to be done. They explained what they would do and went right to work. They worked quickly but made sure they took the time to answer all my questions about what they were doing. They were mindful of my property and protected my grass and plants. They finished about 1:30 pm. Having completed my garage foundation stabilization, they completely cleaned up and left my yard looking just as it had when they arrived. These guys were great. The whole process from start to finish went very smoothly. Thanks guys.

Austin arrived on time and discussed our concerns. He performed an interior and exterior inspection of our home while explaining in detail any items that were of concern. He checked all our existing equipment and systems, including a structure moisture content and interior humidity readings. He advised us about future possibilities and what it would take to correct these issues. He was very thorough and professional as he calmly answered questions and provided us a great future plan. Alex, Marcus and Josue were efficient, professional, and quite enjoyable to work with. They worked around my landscaping, had great attitudes, paid attention to detail, informed us of what was going on, what to expect next and how to finish the project. Nothing rattled them. They were patient, and very good at their jobs. Alex was foreman on our job and was very patient and kind. We needed that attitude and it went a long way in not making us feel in the way, or a bother to them. Thank you for that! Now let the polyfoam fun begin next. Thanks guys!

I called FSM to repair a driveway and porch that were unlevel. Jeff Holbrook, the salesman came out and was great to work with. To sum it up, Jeff was honest, did not over sell and explained to me what I needed to do to reach a withstanding repair and cost.Nate Pierce and Noah Wick came out to do the repair work.I have to say I do not write reviews too often, but I felt I needed to this time. Nate and Noah were great guys. Called before showing up on time and explained everything about how and what they were going to do and did it. After they left my driveway was level and sealed which just looks great. I wish all repairs were done this professionally. If you've had anybody come to your house to fix something, you know what I'm talking about.Thank you, Nate, Noah and Jeff.

We recently had our crawl space encapsulated by FSM and the results are very impressive. The crew consisting of Tim, Kody, and Sid kept us informed all along the way. These guys attended to the work with diligence and care. They were thoughtful and took care that the work area was neat as well as our home. We can't thank them enough for the professional way they executed the project. When all was complete, I inspected the crawl space and was overwhelmed with the attention to detail and how meticulous Tim, Kody, and Sid are upon me seeing the results of their labor. These guys demonstrated a pride in what they do and it shows in the way they interacted with us. If anyone ever asks me about what to do about their crawl space I will certainly recommend FSM most strenuously and certain tell them if they get the work done, to ask for Tim, Kody, and Sid.
