We just had the best experience with Alex! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Its hard to find a company that truly cares and backs their work up. Alex took extra time to go over everything and explain it in a way that I could understand. He's not a salesman looking for a quick buck. We have been trying for years to finally get the basement room under our porch to stay dry and this is the first time we've actually succeeded, thanks to FSM, particularly Quentin H, Jordan S, Anthony H and Frank who worked on our project. I should probably preface this with the fact that our house is nearly 100 years old and no construction project, from plumbing, to electrical to construction has ever gone smoothly because this place is just full of character and unexpected surprises that screw up everything you are trying to do. The initial install in August went great. The guys were very knowledgeable and efficient. We had started this project because, every time it rained outside, it also rained inside. We had cups, vases, buckets, anything that could hold water placed everywhere collecting all the drops pouring in while futilely running a dehumidifier 24/7. Turns out that wasn't what was farming mold on our walls and the August worked fixed the moisture levels right away, so we've actually been able to breath in there since August, which is great. But the house struck again with its mystery leaks through the porch cap and the indoor rain persisted. But, when I suspect anyone else might have given up, Quentin and his team persisted, returning several times a month, every month since to find and seal the source of the leak, until this week when we finally got it. I'm so pleased and would recommend FSM to anyone trying to get their basement dry. I'd also like to thank our sales guy, Don, who went the extra mile helping us get ready for the project because our basement support structure was completely in the way. Gotta love old houses and their quirks.

Richard Z, Shawn E, and Sebastian M were fantastic! They were very polite, professional and efficient. They showed up on time, completed the job over the course of 2 visits, and left the place looking like it was always there. I had a sump pump installation. When the job was completed, Richard Z went over all the specifications with the pump and addressed all of our questions and concerns. Give these employees a raise!!! They were top notch! I highly recommend FSM of Livonia for your waterproofing concerns.

During the ice storm of 2025, I lost power for eight days. FSM had encapsulated my Crawl Space August 2024. During the power outage, the crawlspace filled with approximately 18 inches of water. I just had Cameron P out to make sure everything is up and running. He checked the battery, the dehumidifier and the sump pumps. All is well! Highly recommended! Cameron was very knowledgeable, very personable and thorough. Two 👍👍

I had my crawl space encapsulated and a support beam installed by FSM. Overall, the work was done well and my floor was level after the work they did. The only issue was the encapsulation of the sump pump and leveling of the dehumidifier. The original crew that came out put the dehumidifier of cardboard pieces from the box it came in rather than footings to keep it level. They also covered over our sump pumps completely which made then inaccessible and unable to function correctly so the sump actually overflowed and flooded the crawl space. I spoke with Amanda in the office who was so sweet, understanding, and efficient with getting another crew out to my home ASAP to fix the problem. Deshawn and Reggie came out and fixed the original issue, put the dehumidifier on risers to level it (had a laugh with me about the ridiculous state of it left by the original crew) and made sure to leave everything clean and tidy. They advised me on how to access everything in the future while maintaining the integrity of the encapsulation. The two of them really made sure I was happy with the end product.

Jakob and his team (Alex, Nicholas and Junior) were prompt, efficient, and professional in their installation of a basement foundation drain in my home yesterday. Jakob was very helpful and responsive to my questions throughout the day and thoroughly explained operation of the new drainage system, etc. He's also an outstanding foreman, keeping his team working seamlessly and in harmony. This team was obviously very experienced! I also appreciated the very high quality of materials and workmanship. And when the crew left, EVERYTHING was cleaned up very well. This was my second experience with FSM. BOTH EXPERIENCES WERE OUTSTANDING!! Their prices are competitive, their workmanship outstanding, and their overall objective is a satisfied customer WHICH I AM AGAIN!!! Give FSM and ADDITIONAL STAR!!! THANKS GUYS!!! THANKS FSM!!!
