We hired FSM to level our sidewalk/walkway sections. Jayden B and Carter S arrived promptly this morning and did an excellent job! They met with us to discuss our concerns and needs so they could be sure the completed job met our expectations. We were given explanations throughout the process so that we understood what they were accomplishing. They invited us to watch the work and take photos or videos if we wanted. These guys really understand the work they are doing and accomplish their task with respect for the property. They had great attention to detail and did their work effectively and efficiently. We will need to have our driveway leveled next year and will not only call FSM, but will request Jayden and Carter do the work.

Alex, Marcus and Josue were efficient, professional, and quite enjoyable to work with. They worked around my landscaping, had great attitudes, paid attention to detail, informed us of what was going on, what to expect next and how to finish the project. Nothing rattled them. They were patient, and very good at their jobs. Alex was foreman on our job and was very patient and kind. We needed that attitude and it went a long way in not making us feel in the way, or a bother to them. Thank you for that! Now let the polyfoam fun begin next. Thanks guys!

Foundation systems of Michigan (FSM) was not the first company I called but I'm glad I hired them anyway. The first company wouldn't even return my calls then lied about it. foundation systems of Michigan was very professional, they measured with more accurate and professional equipment. And even gave me a 5% discount on the job For a senior discount (I'm 65) my house is almost a 100 years old. It's completely out of square on just about every wall and floor and I know it was a nightmare for them to work on. When they started tearing out the old sub floors that were built on top of each other, I had not one but two different subfloors that had asbestos tile. Another company had to be called in to remove it professionally. It was very costly and a great set back. FSM offered to knock another 5% off my bill and did even though they were not obligated to. Anything after that which they did, if I wasn totally satisfied or had a question on it they would redo it again to my satisfaction if needed. They were always professional and as polite as possible. when I thought and was afraid I might need foundation peers (can be quite costly) , My inspector, Ryan , was very honest and told me not only did I NOT need the peers but also what I could do on my own to stop the heavy condensation buildup under my crawl space in that area of concern. I did what he said. It didn't cost me a dime just a little bit of my physical labor and it cleared the problem right up. i couldn't believe it. They even redid the subfloor in my little entrance/mudroom for nothing even though it wasn't on the original estimate. They said something about all the trouble that I went through with the house and wanted me to be happy with them and I am. Very happy. theymight of even lost money on this job for the set backs and trouble with everything being so far out of square but they always stuck with it to my utmost satisfaction. most companies would never have gone the extra mile like they did. Had a great experience with Gary. I called him out for what I thought was a water proofing issue and discovered it was actually a plumbing issue. He was incredibly honest and didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. He also took the time to point out several ASAP maintenance items to help me avoid future headaches. It’s very rare to find that level of honesty and kindness that he has versus just wanting to make money or take advantage. Highly recommend.. GO GARY!!!

We're had a really great experience and are glad to be using them. We had work done through another company a few years ago, which is not holding up well. (Our basement continues to smell musty sometimes.) We really liked the ability to schedule the appointment online and couldn't have asked for a better consultation with Keenan. We've been very pleased with the correspondences ahead of the work such as receiving the plans and permits. It's a lot of money to drop on something that isn't vital at the moment, but fully trust that these guys will get it done right and stand by their work.

John came out to our home in Grand Rapids to assess a crack in our basement and discuss moisture solutions. He was very knowledgeable and I have so much peace of mind after talking to him! He was very clear about presenting us our options and discussing our next steps, even suggesting a few simple solutions above and beyond what we initially called Groundworks to assess. If we need future foundation work done, this’ll be the first company we call.
