They kept us updated throughout the process checking every time a jack was adjusted that there wasn't damage. They cleaned up and kept mess to a minimum in a very dirty and extremely small space. Clay came and did an exceptional and very thorough inspection of our foundation, basement, and crawl space. In fact, it was the most thorough evaluation Iāve experienced. (My husband and I have had some very bad experiences with evaluations and work done by other companies.) Clay was respectful and genuinely cared about our experience. He wasnāt pushy AT ALL. Also, he took the time to answer our endless questions. He never rushed us. We never felt that we were a burden or had a stupid question. He took the time to show us pictures and measurements to back up his analysis and recommendations. Robert Walraven, a FSM Service Technician, arrived on time for an annual inspection of the work FSM had previously completed. To my surprise we found considerable water in the crawl space. The water was due to a cracked pipe in our artesian well pit allowing water to flow on top of the liner that FSM had installed. Although this was not an FSM issue, Robert modified the liner to allow the water flow to go into the tiling and on to the sump that FSM had installed. This gave me time to repair the cracked pipes without additional flooding. He then offered to come back at no additional charge and finish the annual inspection at no additional charge once the well pit repair had been completed. Very professional and very much appreciated

We had an older barn that flooded whith heavy rain or melting snow, creating a massive mess and making it unusable for our equine. We researched, read reviews and finally settled on Groundworks out of Traverse City. On the project, the team was timely, polite, and clearly knew what they were doing. They answered our questions and patiently explained everything. We had wood fencing along the barn and they were able to waterproof the foundation and dig French drains without moving it. They even took the time to spread the extra dirt out in our pasture! We want to give a huge shout out to Ethan Harvey, Jonah Hamilton, Richard Smith and Thomas Brown who worked so hard on our project. Really stellar guys and a joy to have on our property! Instead of dreading the next heavy rain, we now welcome it because we know our barn will stay dry!

Today was the 2nd year inspection of the basement (water) repair work by FSM. I was pleased with their representative Joshua Gaddy and found him to be amiable and very knowledgeable. After the usual inspection he was kind enough to check my homes foundation and reported "found no problems".
