From beginning to end, Foundation Systems of Michigan was amazing. The salesman was honest, informative, personable, and truly a joy to work with. Communication prior to the insulation process was timely and clear, with updates provided whenever needed. The installers were professional, respectful of our home, and did superb work. We cannot say enough positive things about this experience. They handled everything from obtaining permits to thoroughly cleaning up afterward making the entire process smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend Foundation Systems of Michigan.

I was surprise to discover a small leak in my basement. I had FSM to waterproof my basement 6 years ago. I was told by the representative at that time, that I would never have a water problem again. I contacted FSM immediately. A few days later, I met Justin {representative)who was very proficient & knowledgeable about my water problem. He explained and offer solutions. I had to remove & replace drywall, molding, repaint, buy more carpet padding plus have it dried & stretched…$$$ I was furious with the Manager from FSM, he didn't offer to pay for any of the repairs. Justin's effort in helping me made a huge difference. It took 2 visit to complete the work. This is how a company should service their customers!

After repeated moisture issues in part of our basement, we contacted this company for a proper waterproofing solution instead of another temporary fix. The inspector explained the source of the problem clearly and outlined several realistic solutions without pressuring us into unnecessary upgrades. Compared to previous contractors we dealt with, this company felt much more knowledgeable and professional overall. The crew completed the work efficiently and kept us updated throughout the project. Since everything was finished, the basement has stayed completely dry even after several heavy storms, and the air in that part of the house feels noticeably less humid.

My husband and I had foundation systems of Michigan come out to do our crawlspace. The installers that came were very professional cleaned up after themselves and did a very good job. The installers names were Jonah Hamilton, Logan Dean, Bryant Dozier, and Kiko Hartley. All four of these men did a great job and were very professional. I would definitely recommend having them out to do work at anyone’s home!

We just finished our waterproofing installation. WOW! Miguel A did an outstanding job leading Luis S and Gerso G. They were amazing installers! They were kind and polite and helpful. They cared about my belongings in the basement. They did a lot of hard work in one day to be ready for the city inspector the next morning. They cemented and cleaned up the next afternoon. A lot of good work was accomplished timely due to their dedication. Miguel also did an excellent job communicating with me about the job itself, how the system & sump pump work, and maintenance. They are a top notch crew! Thank you!!!!

Joe came out was very informative about everything that we need to get done, i bought a lot of things for my house for it to be improved, but I've never met a salesman that was so informative. We didn't want him to go period but he had to go cook for his 9 children period Also during the process and he didn't have to say it. Ever dry company. Definitely. Lee gave us a false expectation. I will make sure that foundation systems of Michigan gets spread out. To every. Friend and family that.I know for the rest of my life

I had my crawl space encapsulated and a support beam installed by FSM. Overall, the work was done well and my floor was level after the work they did. The only issue was the encapsulation of the sump pump and leveling of the dehumidifier. The original crew that came out put the dehumidifier of cardboard pieces from the box it came in rather than footings to keep it level. They also covered over our sump pumps completely which made then inaccessible and unable to function correctly so the sump actually overflowed and flooded the crawl space. I spoke with Amanda in the office who was so sweet, understanding, and efficient with getting another crew out to my home ASAP to fix the problem. Deshawn and Reggie came out and fixed the original issue, put the dehumidifier on risers to level it (had a laugh with me about the ridiculous state of it left by the original crew) and made sure to leave everything clean and tidy. They advised me on how to access everything in the future while maintaining the integrity of the encapsulation. The two of them really made sure I was happy with the end product.

Foundation systems of Michigan (FSM) was not the first company I called but I'm glad I hired them anyway. The first company wouldn't even return my calls then lied about it. foundation systems of Michigan was very professional, they measured with more accurate and professional equipment. And even gave me a 5% discount on the job For a senior discount (I'm 65) my house is almost a 100 years old. It's completely out of square on just about every wall and floor and I know it was a nightmare for them to work on. When they started tearing out the old sub floors that were built on top of each other, I had not one but two different subfloors that had asbestos tile. Another company had to be called in to remove it professionally. It was very costly and a great set back. FSM offered to knock another 5% off my bill and did even though they were not obligated to. Anything after that which they did, if I wasn totally satisfied or had a question on it they would redo it again to my satisfaction if needed. They were always professional and as polite as possible. when I thought and was afraid I might need foundation peers (can be quite costly) , My inspector, Ryan , was very honest and told me not only did I NOT need the peers but also what I could do on my own to stop the heavy condensation buildup under my crawl space in that area of concern. I did what he said. It didn't cost me a dime just a little bit of my physical labor and it cleared the problem right up. i couldn't believe it. They even redid the subfloor in my little entrance/mudroom for nothing even though it wasn't on the original estimate. They said something about all the trouble that I went through with the house and wanted me to be happy with them and I am. Very happy. theymight of even lost money on this job for the set backs and trouble with everything being so far out of square but they always stuck with it to my utmost satisfaction. most companies would never have gone the extra mile like they did.
