This was my second experience with them. The first waterproofing of an industrial building works perfectly for years now. We used to have massive floods after heavy summer rains. No more flooding! This time they did structural work to my home. They installed helical piers under a section that had no foundation. They added a beam across to support the piers and replaced rotted wood that they came across, as well. In the basement they installed waterproofing membrane and vertical steel beams along the wall. Looks good, we shall see if it stands the test of time.

The Rochester branch contacted me after the Livonia branch wasted my time for a month. Their crew came out to complete my job within 24 hours of original contact after learning about the issues from the other branch.Nate and Noah were courteous and professional, and were both very apologetic about the way the other branch had treated me. They completed the job in a timely fashion and throughly cleaned up afterward. It was clear they take pride in their work and in the FSM brand.My concrete slab was sinking in a few places in my house, causing significant separation between my base boards and floor. FSM was able to stabilize my floors and move them back up to their original locations. I am very happy with the results

I had my crawl space encapsulated and a support beam installed by FSM. Overall, the work was done well and my floor was level after the work they did. The only issue was the encapsulation of the sump pump and leveling of the dehumidifier. The original crew that came out put the dehumidifier of cardboard pieces from the box it came in rather than footings to keep it level. They also covered over our sump pumps completely which made then inaccessible and unable to function correctly so the sump actually overflowed and flooded the crawl space. I spoke with Amanda in the office who was so sweet, understanding, and efficient with getting another crew out to my home ASAP to fix the problem. Deshawn and Reggie came out and fixed the original issue, put the dehumidifier on risers to level it (had a laugh with me about the ridiculous state of it left by the original crew) and made sure to leave everything clean and tidy. They advised me on how to access everything in the future while maintaining the integrity of the encapsulation. The two of them really made sure I was happy with the end product.

We own a small vacation home on the Au Sable. The home was built on a dirt crawl space. We always had water, mold and odor issues from the crawl space. FSM of Michigan came in this week and completely encapsulated the space and added a new sump pump. The job wasn't cheap but the result is well worth the cost. Stephen, Matt, Isaiah and Justin worked very hard for two and a half days to get the job done. Great crew who worked hard and answered all my questions. Everything was left spotless. We highly recommend FSM of Michigan TC if you have water/foundation issues!

Hunter K, Teddy F, and River C were very respectful of my property and made sure I was happy when they finished. They went the extra mile to clean up completely when done. This was my fourth project with FSM/Groundworks and I’ve had a good experience each time. I feel they have genuine people across the board and work to take care of your issues.

I really was impressed by the professionalism of Juan, Diego and Jeff., and even John who did our inspection. My crawl space is ONLY two blocks. Very tight fit. Average guy can NOT fit under there. House was built in 1954. Needless to say I have NEVER been under there and at 73 I NEVER will now. The boys did a hell of a job and clean. My gosh, I would even do that good. They even fixed one of our furnace pipes that some how came apart. They seem to have a good time together also. The service contract was WELL worth the money. Needless to say, I highly recommend FSM and if you get a chance ask for Jeff and Juan and Diego. AWESOME JOB BOYS/ Leonard Mueller

Justin came out for our annual inspection. He carefully inspected/tested the sump pump, batteries, connections along with the wall anchors and outside connections. Once this was completed, he reviewed all aspects of the inspection with me and alerted me to the amount of humidity in our basement. He made some suggestions of larger dehumidifiers and reminders for our next inspection. He was very thorough and professional.
