FSM was recommended to me for basement waterproofing. Joe came out to do a very thorough inspection and I was very impressed by his knowledge and level of detail during the walk through. By the time he left I had a very clear picture of the condition of my basement and the areas where water has affected my 80+ year old home.

Had a great experience with Gary. I called him out for what I thought was a water proofing issue and discovered it was actually a plumbing issue. He was incredibly honest and didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. He also took the time to point out several ASAP maintenance items to help me avoid future headaches. It’s very rare to find that level of honesty and kindness that he has versus just wanting to make money or take advantage. Highly recommend.. GO GARY!!!

We hired FSM to spray foam insulate our crawl space and install a dehumidifier to help with the dampness in that area. All four workers, Jalen, DeShawn, Reggie, and Jamont were very helpful, friendly and professional. The crawl space looks so much better than it did and we are happy that it is sealed off from the cold weather. I would highly recommend FSM for any of your foundation work!

John W. was honestly the best! He’s the inspector I needed from the start. I’m a first time homeowner so the questions were flying and a lot was learned. He’s truly passionate on what he does. Justin Emond arrived at our home to do what we both thought would be a normal annual checkup. Instead, I needed a new battery and a new pump and the crock needed to be flushed. All this was happening in a house where the water and electricity and gas had been shut off as a tree had fallen on our home. He did a fabulous job and improvised using a hose and hooking up to the neighbors’ water so that the crock could get flushed. He also explained to me how these pumps work which I’ve never quite understood. He worked very efficiently and I was most impressed with him and with Foundation Systems Of Michigan.

Without mentioning names, the 'other' company's sump system was incorrectly installed, causing sand to fill the bucket and the drain pipes. Not only did the basement flood, it created a bow on that east wall, weakening an existing bow. No response at all from 'them' to my pleas.So I called FSM – immediate response! Greg Q assessed the situation and stood by me as we resolved things, in stages of 3 visits. Sump bucket is now properly installed, drain system improved upon, basement floor trenches and finger drains to respond to hydrostatic pressure, wall anchors installed where needed. Each repair session consisted of a team of no-nonsense, in-sync, yet very approachable and very respectful hard workers. The house was spotless when they left, inside and out. These folks are serious problem solvers. And just like that, this house finally has a no-nonsense, in-sync dry basement and a solid foundation. Thank you FSM – Team Foreman and Team, and the very responsive and supportive Office, and most definitely, Thank you Greg Q.
