Reflecting on the Hoben Color Walk

On May 9, Foundation Systems of Michigan was proud to sponsor the annual Hoben Elementary Color Walk, the school’s biggest fundraising event of the year. Organized by the Hoben PTO, the event brought students, staff, and families together for a fun, high-energy day of color and community spirit.

Participants wore white shirts and became walking works of art as they were doused in vibrant powder while making their way around the school track. This year’s walk wasn’t just the most colorful—it was the most successful. With over $40,000 raised for student programs and initiatives, it marked a major milestone for the school.

FSM’s Livonia team was thrilled to support the effort, helping to provide colorful shirts for every student and staff member and showing up in full force to celebrate with the Hoben community.

What We Achieved Together

Together, we helped raise over $40,000 for school programs and student initiatives, an incredible achievement for the Hoben community.

Families from across Canton and Plymouth came out to participate, making it a true community event. FSM also played a key role in ensuring every student and staff member received a Color Walk shirt, reinforcing our commitment to showing up for the communities we serve.

This event highlighted the powerful connection between local businesses and schools, proving what we can accomplish when we work together.
