Clay came and did an exceptional and very thorough inspection of our foundation, basement, and crawl space. In fact, it was the most thorough evaluation I’ve experienced. (My husband and I have had some very bad experiences with evaluations and work done by other companies.) Clay was respectful and genuinely cared about our experience. He wasn’t pushy AT ALL. Also, he took the time to answer our endless questions. He never rushed us. We never felt that we were a burden or had a stupid question. He took the time to show us pictures and measurements to back up his analysis and recommendations. We are very happy with the job our Traverse City crew of Bryant, Gabe, Logan and Jarred did on our crawl space. Bryant kept us well informed of arrival and departure times, gave us frequent updates on their progress with lots of pictures. The crew jumped right in and started working immediately upon arrival. Bryant kept us informed of issues they ran into and how they could be fixed. The crew were always cheerful and polite. They did their job quickly and efficiently and finished up a day earlier than expected. I would not hesitate to recommend FSM to anyone with crawl space issues.

I had concrete floor leveling, and a foundation pier system installation. The droughts over the last few years caused any area supported by a trench foundation to sink. Gaps on the brick formed. The garage side door would not open. The concrete leveling took 1 day, and the foundation work took 2 days. These projects required 2 separate crews, as crew specialize. The foundation work was done 1st, followed by the concrete slab leveling a couple of days later. Both crews arrived a little after 8 am. They were professional, and answered my questions. I took some pictures of the foundation work, also. When the crews were finished, they left the areas broom clean, which is standard. Nothing was damaged. The foundation exposure took place on the 1st day. The lifting took place on the morning of the 2nd day. The inspector came around noon and approved the project. The crew then filled in the dirt, cleaned up and left. The foundation work area have dirt piles next to the brick. This is normal as it takes time for the dirt to settle. I had foundation work at our house about 20 years ago, on another area with a trench foundation. So, I knew what to expect. Also, the crew took out 3 bushes for me to transplant in my front yard. They also replanted a medium size firebush for me in the backyard. I did lose some shrubs due to the dirt needing to settle.

Had a great experience with Gary. I called him out for what I thought was a water proofing issue and discovered it was actually a plumbing issue. He was incredibly honest and didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. He also took the time to point out several ASAP maintenance items to help me avoid future headaches. It’s very rare to find that level of honesty and kindness that he has versus just wanting to make money or take advantage. Highly recommend.. GO GARY!!!

I had a rather large cement patio that had sunk and was sloped towards the house attributing to water infiltrating the basement. Rana H and David H were able to lift the slab to where the water will now drain off away from the house. They went about their work keeping me informed as to what was transpiring. They were pleasant and friendly and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend you asking for Rana and David when you have Groundworks repair your cement. You won't go wrong. I am totally satisfied with the work that they had done. If I could rate them seperately they would both get five stars!! I'm a completely satisfied customer.

I've been an FSM customer since 2014 when at that time, I had a triple backup sump pump installed. During this time I've definitely had a love/hate reationship with them. Sticking to my yearly service commitment, I still fell through the cracks when there was an issue that needed addressing with no answers for a solution. This year, I had the pleasure of Don B. as my service technician and he definitely showed that FSM has knowledgeable and caring technicians. He listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly, giving clear and concise resolve to any questions/concerns I had. FSM definitely need more Don B's on their team. He's only one of two technicians over a course of 11 years that shows FSM in a positive light. Those aren't great odds considering how let down I'd felt by a couple of FSM technicians. Thank you again Don B, for putting the customer first. I appreciate your time and politeness.

Nate Pierce & Noah W were both very kind. They cleaned up after themselves. Explained the process. Took their time doing the job. We're very friendly and added to the job. There were a few things that needed to be moved due to the extra job, and they helped me move the items! I would highly recommend them to my friends. I felt guilty because they anticipated the job to take 1.5 hrs and due to our extreme level of problems and added work, it ended up taking them 5 hours! Top notch gentlemen to work with and represent a company! Round of applause to you both!

FSM of Traverse City and Josh G are awesome! I bought my house last June knowing the basement got wet and kind of flooded every spring. Last Summer when, (I can’t remember his name) came to do an inspection of the support poles they had installed a year or two before I bought the house he sold me on getting the whole basement water proofed. I’ll tell you one thing. If you think you need it done, but can’t afford it, you need to find a way to afford it. I didn’t realize how musty and stinky my house was before I had FSM do the work plus getting the awesome dehumidifier. They just came to do their annual inspection of everything and I only had one problem or rather question. I went up stairs to use the bathroom and when I came back downstairs Josh already had gotten me some dates for warranty work. I feel like I just doubled the value of my home by having them come in. Thank you FSM!
