We Can Create A Customized Drain System To Meet Any Challenge!

The simplest, most effective way to stop basement flooding is to install a full-perimeter French drain in your basement.

At Foundation Systems of Michigan, we take pride in our ability to provide homeowners a drainage system installation quickly and successfully. On most projects, our installation crews can install a complete perimeter drain and sump pump system in less than two days.

Once we’re done, we’ll provide you with a written lifetime warranty on your system. Should you decide to sell your home in the future, this warranty can be transferred over to the new owner.

Which French Drain System Works Best For You?

Different problems call for different tools to fix them. In the same way that we wouldn’t use a hammer to drive in a screw, we do not use the same drain system for every basement waterproofing job we complete.

Each of our drainage systems are designed to address a different, unique challenge that you may be facing. Some of these challenges involve the way your home has been designed, while others address unusual basement water issues, such as iron ochre.

We offer our customers the following French drain systems:

AquaStop® Drainage System

For a typical basement, our AquaStop® Drainage System is the ideal choice for waterproofing. Installed on the footing away from soil and roots, it’s unique, anti-clog design collects water and moisture from your walls.

AquaStop® is made from a strong, durable material and its subtle design allows for it to be easily concealed with basement finishing.

Installation involves removing a section of floor around the perimeter and creating a drainage trench. Sections of AquaStop® are then placed within the trench, resting on a bed of drainage stone, and the floor is restored.

AquaGrate™ Drainage Pipe

AquaGrate™ Drainage Pipe can be installed at the bottom of a basement stairway, or at the doorway into a walkout basement. It can also be used to prevent surface water from entering a garage.

The system is designed to collect water from the floor and direct it to your perimeter drainage system. AquaGrate™ Drainage Pipe is easily integrated with our AquaStop® Basement Waterproofing System.
