We had Groundworks out to install a sump pump and other water proofing measures at our home. Dean gave us an initial estimate and he was thorough and very kind. Jacob was our main contact for the on site work and he was excellent. He was kind and explained every step of the process with us. He showed us how everything would work and offered his number in case we had any questions afterward. I appreciate him and his onsite crew- they all worked very hard carrying heavy buckets of concrete in and out of our house. Very thankful and appreciative of Jacob and his crew!

Tom came to our house to look at a failing retaining wall. He was prompt, friendly and courteous. He spent a lot of time studying the issues and working with their team of experts to find a potential solution. Ultimately, they informed me that there was none. I knew going into the appointment that this was a distinct possibility and applaud them for their candor and honesty. A lesser company could easily have offered a sub- optimal proposal that would not have solved the problems and cost a lot of money.

i am a senior citizen who actually lives in the Walled Lake area. also live in a condominium community. i was experiencing flooding and sub pump issues in my basement and of course Mangement co. and association did not want to help me. Fourtanelly a fellow named Dave came to the condo and was so patient and helpful in making me understand and decide what was needed to fix the problems . i was totally surprised by the workers that came to fix the problems they were such hard workers, and they had to go up and down about 25 stairs carrying gravel and cement along with equipment they needed to use.Miguel,Jose,and Juilan were the hardest workers i have ever seen. they even ate their lunch in the truck. they were professional,knowledgeable,polite and kind. i highly recommend this co. Delivered exactly as promised. I ended up not having to use their services but, our service representative really delivered. Jake McCurdy was prompt and provided the most thorough “free” inspection service I have ever received. He did not try to sale me things unnecessarily. He presented his findings, educated me on the options and risks if I did not go with the repairs. It was a memorable experience-wish I had called them before I finished my basement. I am currently going to try to eliminate the problem at the source. If that doesn’t work- I will be calling FSM back.

Jason Schilt, came to inspect our home on 7/24, and arrived on time to inspect our home inside, outside, and our crawl space. We cannot have asked to receive a better inspector than Jason. He did not rush through the inspection but took his time to provide us with very thorough details with images to show what we were dealing with under the crawl space. Jason also helped us with financing, and went through pricing options as well as gave his honest professional opinion of what needs to be repaired/replaced.We had reached out to a different company prior to contacting FSM and when the individual arrived to our home he was only here at most 10 minutes and within this short few minutes without ever even going into our crawl space to see what the problem was he stated our structure and foundation both were bad, said he would need to dig up pavements along the house to knock the crawl space wall out then he would go in from there to repair anything he found. He said he also would need to replace the pavement going along our home after he was finished. He quoted us 20,000 to start this job and it took me numerous calls to get the estimate which arrived 3 weeks later. We did not hesitate to call FSM for a second opinion as we were not comfortable with the first guy from the independently owned company who quoted us 20,000. We are so thankful that FSM gave us Jason Schilt as our inspector because he genuinely cares about his job and the well being of his customers. We hope others are as blessed as we were to have Jason come to their home, he’s a very honest person and great guy to do business with! Thank you so much for everything Jason! We appreciate you and your honesty, you’re the best!Rob and Tammy C.
