Foundation systems of Michigan (FSM) was not the first company I called but I'm glad I hired them anyway. The first company wouldn't even return my calls then lied about it. foundation systems of Michigan was very professional, they measured with more accurate and professional equipment. And even gave me a 5% discount on the job For a senior discount (I'm 65) my house is almost a 100 years old. It's completely out of square on just about every wall and floor and I know it was a nightmare for them to work on. When they started tearing out the old sub floors that were built on top of each other, I had not one but two different subfloors that had asbestos tile. Another company had to be called in to remove it professionally. It was very costly and a great set back. FSM offered to knock another 5% off my bill and did even though they were not obligated to. Anything after that which they did, if I wasn totally satisfied or had a question on it they would redo it again to my satisfaction if needed. They were always professional and as polite as possible. when I thought and was afraid I might need foundation peers (can be quite costly) , My inspector, Ryan , was very honest and told me not only did I NOT need the peers but also what I could do on my own to stop the heavy condensation buildup under my crawl space in that area of concern. I did what he said. It didn't cost me a dime just a little bit of my physical labor and it cleared the problem right up. i couldn't believe it. They even redid the subfloor in my little entrance/mudroom for nothing even though it wasn't on the original estimate. They said something about all the trouble that I went through with the house and wanted me to be happy with them and I am. Very happy. theymight of even lost money on this job for the set backs and trouble with everything being so far out of square but they always stuck with it to my utmost satisfaction. most companies would never have gone the extra mile like they did. Phil P. and Jason R. came out to our house and did an excellent job. We purchased our house after the previous owner originally used this company to adjust the flooring and thank goodness they had a transfer of ownership warranty. They adjusted the flooring and completed a thorough inspection. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Due to negligence of the previous owner, we are having them come out to add a drainage system and sump pump. This was recommended by the company previously and the previous owners ignored the issue. I am looking forward to having this issue resolved and would recommend this company for future endeavors.

We have had our house piered multiple times and each time FSM has delivered a professional, hard working, and highly qualified crew to do the job. The last 2 times it was the great crew of Javier, Austin and Joe.. I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with their work. We haven't had the greatest luck with contractors but that does not apply to FSM…. they have worked hard to deliver true customer satisfaction and set a very high bar for our dealings with other folks. FSM is great!

Over two years ago i had another individual come out, check my foundation and preceded to tell me that my house was going to collapse if my 1/2 drop working towards the main drain, went any further. Saying the only reason the collapse had not occurred yet, was due to the solid poured concrete walls. No solution other than at this point the house will stay standing. With that knowledge my house was on the verge of falling in on itself I finally decided to call sometime later to see if the inevitable was here. Thank goodness I got Mark Dunbar! Wish I would have asked the first time he was out instead of waiting longer. Come to find out all the worry over the past two years was unnecessary! He took the time to explain in detail why the house was good and what to look for in the event something does need to be addressed. You can see Marks passion for delivering correct information while keeping customers interest first and foremost! I’ll definitely be calling him when we need to purchase our quality made whole house dehumidifier!! Thanks again Mark for the phenomenal customer service!!

We felt immediately comfortable with Dylan and his professional mannerism. Dylan took the time to explain to us what his company could do to help repair our basement from water damage.
