I had a drain, sump pump, and vapor barrier installed in my basement, and I couldn’t be happier with the crew. Justin, Joshua, and Darryl were fantastic—professional, courteous, and respectful of my space. They made sure not to disturb me while I worked from home and left everything clean and tidy when they were done. And a big shoutout to my salesman, John—he was the best! I've been an FSM customer since 2014 when at that time, I had a triple backup sump pump installed. During this time I've definitely had a love/hate reationship with them. Sticking to my yearly service commitment, I still fell through the cracks when there was an issue that needed addressing with no answers for a solution. This year, I had the pleasure of Don B. as my service technician and he definitely showed that FSM has knowledgeable and caring technicians. He listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly, giving clear and concise resolve to any questions/concerns I had. FSM definitely need more Don B's on their team. He's only one of two technicians over a course of 11 years that shows FSM in a positive light. Those aren't great odds considering how let down I'd felt by a couple of FSM technicians. Thank you again Don B, for putting the customer first. I appreciate your time and politeness.

We are extremely happy! We knew exactly when they would arrive, on arrival the supervisor informed us of their procedures what they would be doing while the other workers were getting things ready. Floor protection was laid down, dust control screens were put up, and they also used an air scrubber to keep the area clean . Junior, Trent and Benson were very professional! They kept us informed on their progress and at or near the end showed us their work and made sure we were happy. We were thrilled! We obviously would highly recommend them!

Just have to say, in what could be one of the worst situations to find yourself, this process was made so much easier with the help of our awesome inspector Rana! She was beyond helpful, courteous, and went above and beyond to try and make everything work out for us. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything in great detail. She reviewed all our options and worked tirelessly with us to find the best possible solution. The crew arrived promptly this morning led by Hunter the Foreman and crew members Dalton and Dawson. They covered the walls and floors leading to the crawl and were extremely neat and conscientious. They answered our questions, showed and explained the results of their skillful work, all delivered exactly as contracted. They cleaned up the crawl floor, even areas we had on our “to do list”! SO IMPRESSED! We must include Zachary, our Sales Rep, who developed the solution initially, came out a week beforehand at our request to make sure we had prepared the exterior as needed. HIGHLY recommend FSM, now Groundworks of Traverse City.

Had a great experience with Gary. I called him out for what I thought was a water proofing issue and discovered it was actually a plumbing issue. He was incredibly honest and didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. He also took the time to point out several ASAP maintenance items to help me avoid future headaches. It’s very rare to find that level of honesty and kindness that he has versus just wanting to make money or take advantage. Highly recommend.. GO GARY!!!

After Mark's inspection he determined that I had a gray water plumbing leak and a crawl space cover leaking but no need for his services. Which is amazing compared to the competition Ayers Basement that tried to sell 57K worth of service.Mark won't sell you what you don't need I highly recommend you ask for him by name. The Rochester branch contacted me after the Livonia branch wasted my time for a month. Their crew came out to complete my job within 24 hours of original contact after learning about the issues from the other branch.Nate and Noah were courteous and professional, and were both very apologetic about the way the other branch had treated me. They completed the job in a timely fashion and throughly cleaned up afterward. It was clear they take pride in their work and in the FSM brand.My concrete slab was sinking in a few places in my house, causing significant separation between my base boards and floor. FSM was able to stabilize my floors and move them back up to their original locations. I am very happy with the results

Dan just did my yearly inspection and he was very professional, prompt and thoughtful! He called to tell me when he would arrive, he put on shoe covers without me asking and quickly got to work. He walked around the outside of my house and pointed out a problem with my porch, no other service technician has ever walked around the outside of my home. I hope Dan continues to be the guy that does my inspection. Great experience!

We had an older barn that flooded whith heavy rain or melting snow, creating a massive mess and making it unusable for our equine. We researched, read reviews and finally settled on Groundworks out of Traverse City. On the project, the team was timely, polite, and clearly knew what they were doing. They answered our questions and patiently explained everything. We had wood fencing along the barn and they were able to waterproof the foundation and dig French drains without moving it. They even took the time to spread the extra dirt out in our pasture! We want to give a huge shout out to Ethan Harvey, Jonah Hamilton, Richard Smith and Thomas Brown who worked so hard on our project. Really stellar guys and a joy to have on our property! Instead of dreading the next heavy rain, we now welcome it because we know our barn will stay dry!

FSM of Traverse City and Josh G are awesome! I bought my house last June knowing the basement got wet and kind of flooded every spring. Last Summer when, (I can’t remember his name) came to do an inspection of the support poles they had installed a year or two before I bought the house he sold me on getting the whole basement water proofed. I’ll tell you one thing. If you think you need it done, but can’t afford it, you need to find a way to afford it. I didn’t realize how musty and stinky my house was before I had FSM do the work plus getting the awesome dehumidifier. They just came to do their annual inspection of everything and I only had one problem or rather question. I went up stairs to use the bathroom and when I came back downstairs Josh already had gotten me some dates for warranty work. I feel like I just doubled the value of my home by having them come in. Thank you FSM!

We scheduled with FSM for an inspection of our crawl space to get help with understanding what we could do to clean and seal it up. Our inspector was John Eldon. John is tasked with the unpleasant job of crawling through some dirty, cramped spaces and he definitely approached ours with good humor and a professional attitude. He put us at ease and did an excellent job of answering all of our questions and concerns. There was NO hard sell or pressure to sign. We did contract with FSM to do the job and feel very comfortable with the process so far. They followed up as promised with scheduling.
