Foundation systems of Michigan (FSM) was not the first company I called but I'm glad I hired them anyway. The first company wouldn't even return my calls then lied about it. foundation systems of Michigan was very professional, they measured with more accurate and professional equipment. And even gave me a 5% discount on the job For a senior discount (I'm 65) my house is almost a 100 years old. It's completely out of square on just about every wall and floor and I know it was a nightmare for them to work on. When they started tearing out the old sub floors that were built on top of each other, I had not one but two different subfloors that had asbestos tile. Another company had to be called in to remove it professionally. It was very costly and a great set back. FSM offered to knock another 5% off my bill and did even though they were not obligated to. Anything after that which they did, if I wasn totally satisfied or had a question on it they would redo it again to my satisfaction if needed. They were always professional and as polite as possible. when I thought and was afraid I might need foundation peers (can be quite costly) , My inspector, Ryan , was very honest and told me not only did I NOT need the peers but also what I could do on my own to stop the heavy condensation buildup under my crawl space in that area of concern. I did what he said. It didn't cost me a dime just a little bit of my physical labor and it cleared the problem right up. i couldn't believe it. They even redid the subfloor in my little entrance/mudroom for nothing even though it wasn't on the original estimate. They said something about all the trouble that I went through with the house and wanted me to be happy with them and I am. Very happy. theymight of even lost money on this job for the set backs and trouble with everything being so far out of square but they always stuck with it to my utmost satisfaction. most companies would never have gone the extra mile like they did. The difference was amazing!! No soft spots and floors were amazingly level again!! Didnāt know how much difference this would would make and we are finally ready to have our new wood floors put down!! Justin Emond arrived at our home to do what we both thought would be a normal annual checkup. Instead, I needed a new battery and a new pump and the crock needed to be flushed. All this was happening in a house where the water and electricity and gas had been shut off as a tree had fallen on our home. He did a fabulous job and improvised using a hose and hooking up to the neighborsā water so that the crock could get flushed. He also explained to me how these pumps work which Iāve never quite understood. He worked very efficiently and I was most impressed with him and with Foundation Systems Of Michigan.

Delivered exactly as promised. I ended up not having to use their services but, our service representative really delivered. Jake McCurdy was prompt and provided the most thorough āfreeā inspection service I have ever received. He did not try to sale me things unnecessarily. He presented his findings, educated me on the options and risks if I did not go with the repairs. It was a memorable experience-wish I had called them before I finished my basement. I am currently going to try to eliminate the problem at the source. If that doesnāt work- I will be calling FSM back.

We purchased our house after the previous owner originally used this company to adjust the flooring and thank goodness they had a transfer of ownership warranty. They adjusted the flooring and completed a thorough inspection. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Due to negligence of the previous owner, we are having them come out to add a drainage system and sump pump. This was recommended by the company previously and the previous owners ignored the issue. I am looking forward to having this issue resolved and would recommend this company for future endeavors.

Great experience. Was able to easily book an inspection for my first available date. John L. came to the house to look at our problem and expertly formulated a plan. Explained to me what was wrong and what products were best to use to fix the problem. I was able to be placed on the work calendar much sooner than I anticipated. On the service date, foreman Matt K. outlined again the plan for installation of the beam and jacks required to fix our sagging floor. He answered a couple of my questions in clear terms that I could understand. Crew members Xavier T. and Tommy D. were friendly but very professional and highly efficient in their work flow. Matt K called the morning of just to ensure correct service time but FSM uses a texting system to update the customer of everything on the service date. When theyāre leaving the shop, when theyāve arrived at the property. Worked flawlessly. All of it exceeded expectations!

FSM performed work on the outside of my basement wall in October 2024, to repair a deteriorating membrane installed by FSM three years ago. When I called to inform FSM of a water leak in my basement, in an area serviced by FSM, an inspector quickly came to my house to check the water leak. A repair crew followed very quickly to correct the original work. The repair crew (Richard, Jacob, Cameron and Adam) were very professional and polite. Their workmanship and clean up was very good. I rated FSM a 4 because the original work should have lasted longer

My husband and I had foundation systems of Michigan come out to do our crawlspace. The installers that came were very professional cleaned up after themselves and did a very good job. The installers names were Jonah Hamilton, Logan Dean, Bryant Dozier, and Kiko Hartley. All four of these men did a great job and were very professional. I would definitely recommend having them out to do work at anyoneās home!

Iāve been a customer of theirs for about eight years now. When they installed my New sub pump. They have been very thorough, respectful, polite, and professional. Every time theyāve come out to do service checks since the install. You get what you pay for and they have definitely earned their cost to me. I would highly recommend them. Today a great Technician, Haytham, came out to my house and he was exactly as I described above. I can also say he was a great guest in my house I enjoyed talking with. On 5/14/26 Carter S. leveled our driveway approach for both stalls. He did a wonderful job and it exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with him and the work he did! On 5/14/25 Forman DeShawn, Co-Forman Reggie, and Austin K. installed the footings drainage with sump pump system. We were very impressed with how well they protect our belongings and how hard they worked the entire time there were here. DeShawn explained everything they were doing, and made sure the system was working before they left.

We had piers added to our 3-season room. Tyler did a great job with the excavator, minimized the mess to the yard and house even though we got over an inch of rain the day he dug it up. Very professional and pleasant to work with. He is coming back to place the concrete patio back in June after the soil settles. Likewise working with Reina who came and pumped concrete under out 3-season floor after the foundation was prepared. She communicated well and did a nice job. Miguel kept me informed throughout the process of the progress they were making, showing me and explaining exactly what they were doing. When a change was made to the original contract, it was discussed with me, and I received a prompt call back first thing in the next morning, agreeing on a credit to my account. I did not expect that, but that really made a difference plus them getting the job done correctly today.
