History
Spouses Bob and Vicki Genord started Foundation Systems of Michigan out of their home when they noticed a gap in the service being provided in the area. They focused on educating the customer on the issues with their home and the methods for repair. In 2020, FSM partnered with Groundworks, the nation’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company and immediately expanded their service coverage. FSM is a a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating and was honored by the Livonia-Westland Chamber as Outstanding Business of the Year in 2024. Their expertise in the industry has helped them repair thousands of homes across the state.

We recently had work done on our crawl space. Hunter and his team were great. They had previously done work two years ago as well. Hunter is awesome! He and his team are friendly and professional. Hunter explains the job to be done and provides pictures of the job upon completion. Great team of workers!

I called FSM to repair a driveway and porch that were unlevel. Jeff Holbrook, the salesman came out and was great to work with. To sum it up, Jeff was honest, did not over sell and explained to me what I needed to do to reach a withstanding repair and cost.Nate Pierce and Noah Wick came out to do the repair work.I have to say I do not write reviews too often, but I felt I needed to this time. Nate and Noah were great guys. Called before showing up on time and explained everything about how and what they were going to do and did it. After they left my driveway was level and sealed which just looks great. I wish all repairs were done this professionally. If you've had anybody come to your house to fix something, you know what I'm talking about.Thank you, Nate, Noah and Jeff.

Jason and Chad arrived timely and worked efficiently as a team. Both were polite and professional. My driveway was filled, repaired and sealed. The cleanup was great. I hate it when people do not clean up behind themselves. I feel like I got the job I paid for. Jason, reminded me of my warranty and not to hesitate to call him. These two guys were great today. We were in the process of selling my grandmother’s house when we discovered a basement wall was caving in. Dan came out promptly and provided a free inspection and quote. He stayed in constant communication and quickly scheduled Miguel and his crew. Miguel did a phenomenal job and remained positive and smiling throughout the entire project. They were incredibly professional and just a genuinely pleasant group to be around. I will absolutely be recommending them to anyone who needs their services. John Terry was fantastic! We've over what he was doing to make sure we understood everything and or if any questions. We already have has work done from FSM in the past and will continue to do so because of ppl like John. He also went over future options if we were interested in investing in it in the future and let us know he was not telling us we had to or needed to. Michael was thorough, very informative, and broke it down so we could understand things better. He took the time to take his boots off each time he came into the house so he wouldn't leave snow all over the floor. FSM installed our sump pump, and we've not regretted their services yet.
