Curdy Rd in Howell
When we bought our home back in 2009, it had a deck off the back that was pitched towards the house. So I removed the deck. Now we are doing some renovations and found that the deck rotted the bond, sill, and the ends of the joists. So now 70% of the back side of my house, the joists are sitting on the foundation. The foundation is good but The floor needs to be jacked up to put a new sill in. I tried myself and couldn’t. Also would like the crawl space redone as well.

Chase Lake Rd in Howell
One of the main support beams is being to twist and pulled down from the floor joists attached under the living room with joist hangers. The other side of the joists sets on top of the support beam. The living room sets about 1' below the rest of the main floor. There was a major water loss insurance claim 2yrs ago, and im afraid this main support was weakened from the water damage. It is 3 2x8 glued and nailed together. They are beginning to separated. The joists resting on top of this support beam some of the ends have began to split or splinter. There are multiple cracks opening up in the newly replaced and existing drywall from before the insurance claim. I am in process of trying to reopen the claim through the insurance, but in the meantime I am concerned with the safety aspect of this. Would need someone to come out and do an evaluation, and possibly determine if the water damage could have caused this. This area on the support beam has significant water stains and outlines as this is where a majority of the water came down from the 2nd floor of the house when the water line burst. This flooded the entire 2nd floor, 1st floor, and basement and in the dining room the drywall ceiling collapsed in about a 10x12 area from the weight of the water which was directly beneath the bathroom where the water line broke.
