we have had some intermittent leaking issues over 7 years we've been in our house (built in 1942) and flooding (major in 2014 storm, minor about a month ago after a sudden torrential rain). There is a very old sump pump system installed, but we don't know much about it. It appears to pipe outside under the gr***, but that corner of the basement is where the leaking comes from, and some mold has been growing there. We'd like a comprehensive solution for these issues so we can get back to safely enjoying our basement again with ***urance that our basement will be ok in the future. Thanks very much!

I recently purchased a house in which the seller had some partial waterproofing done in the basement before I brought it. Now the rains have started that is proving insufficient to say the least. The firm that did that work have advised to finish running the trench around the remainder of the basement and installing a sump pump. It seems sensible to me, but I'm no expert so I'd appreciate your ***essment of the situation and a quote if you'd be willing. I initially spoke to them in case any work could be covered on the existing warranty, but it appears not so I'm not wed to them at all for the new work. Thanks, Sam

I bought my house about 4.5 years ago and have had lots of crawlspace problems. The space is not dug out correctly and you can't get anywhere underneath the house from the access door. I have had rats down there because of the openings. My house is currently undergoing renovations and the flooring is not complete so there are areas that the plywood flooring can be pulled up. Anyway - hoping you guys can help or point me in the right direction!

A representative from your company has already come out but the inspection was inadequate. I am not interested in encapsulating my crawl space at this time and this is what the representative focused on. However, I will likely have sump pump installed. I would like a foundation inspection done to ***ess any water damage and what needs to be addressed. I just bought this house and the crawl space has water issues. We have regraded the backyard, extended the downspouts and sealed the crack between the driveway and crawl space and this seems to be doing a good job addressing the flooding. The foundation needs some repair but I want to know how extensive.

Water in basement. When I bought my home no awareness of water issues in the basement. Some things are better but a few years ago the basements in the neighborhood flooded. I continue to see water come in from the laundry room near the water heater.. in a miserable room that is like a cellar underneath front porch. Right now I have standing water. A former land lord told me to plug it up... that’s a mess now I can’t get it out. My basement is a wreck and I used to hang out down there. Help please
