Justin came out for our annual inspection. He carefully inspected/tested the sump pump, batteries, connections along with the wall anchors and outside connections. Once this was completed, he reviewed all aspects of the inspection with me and alerted me to the amount of humidity in our basement. He made some suggestions of larger dehumidifiers and reminders for our next inspection. He was very thorough and professional.

We felt immediately comfortable with Dylan and his professional mannerism. Dylan took the time to explain to us what his company could do to help repair our basement from water damage. I have used Foundation Systems of Michigan (now Groundworks) since 2014. They fixed foundation leaks back then and installed a new sump pump. Since then, I've had them out every year to service the pump and inspect the foundation. Their technicians are always excellent – professional and experienced. The technician who came out this year, Marshall, was fantastic. He had done prep work for the service call before arriving, which made the visit that much more efficient. The reasons for his recommendations were presented clearly. All in all, it was a visit that reinforced my strong positive view of Groundworks. I'm glad that I chose them over 10 years ago and will certainly continue to work with them in the future.

This was my second experience with them. The first waterproofing of an industrial building works perfectly for years now. We used to have massive floods after heavy summer rains. No more flooding! This time they did structural work to my home. They installed helical piers under a section that had no foundation. They added a beam across to support the piers and replaced rotted wood that they came across, as well. In the basement they installed waterproofing membrane and vertical steel beams along the wall. Looks good, we shall see if it stands the test of time.

He even noticed some other plumbing pipes that were loose and glued them for me. Which could have created a huge mess later on. My wife and I had Richard Z., Martin H., and Sabastian M. Out to our house to fix a broken floor joist and another with a crack in it. They were polite, worked quickly, and aside from the noise of their tools you’d barely know they were there. The work appears to be done well and the overall experience was great! Highly recommend.

Felt like I was on a field trip at my own house. Took so much time educating, making sure I fully understood the situation. Not your average tech trying to sell you what you don’t need. The install crew operated like a well oiled machine. It was impressive to watch them work. Marco M., Mario S., Josh H., and Cortez Y. Took extra care to minimize the dust and dirt in the house. I was expecting the dust and dirt but they went out of their way to covered things that I missed! I was very impressed by that. This is not an easy job hauling concrete up and down the stairs and they did it with grace.We had a miscommunication with the sales department and they really should fix the language in the contract to be more specific on how much drywall that needs to be removed “as needed” is much too vague when verbal instructions were provided and not correct but the crew got their manager on the phone, and we came up with a work around to save the job. Honestly Marco and Dan turned it around and saved us from having to reschedule. They were very respectful, worked quickly and I would definitely recommend them for install.

We didn't want him to go period but he had to go cook for his 9 children period Also during the process and he didn't have to say it. Ever dry company. Definitely. Lee gave us a false expectation.
