Dehumidifer and Air Purifier Synopsis

Purify Your Home's Air When You Add a Dehumidifier To Your Crawl Space

If you have a crawl space under your home, you may not know it but that area of your home is most likely a breeding ground for mold and mildew. Mold and mildew can get into the air and can cause allergic reactions and other medical conditions in people. If mold is breathed into the lungs, it can cause damage to them. Most people who have crawl spaces don't realize that most of the air that enters their home comes from that space underneath the house. So, if there are mold spores in the air underneath the home, those same mold spores are getting into your home.

Dehumidifier and Air Purifer Solution

One of the best ways to get rid of the mold and purify your air is by placing a dehumidifier in your crawl space. A dehumidifier works to take the excess moisture or humidity out of the air and returns back, clean, dry air. If there is no moisture in the air, then mold can no longer survive. This means by simply placing a dehumidifier under your home in the crawl space, you can easily get rid of the mold down there. This also means that the air that is entering your home is mold-free as well. When a good dehumidifier, such as the Santa-Fe brands, is used in a crawl space the homeowner can be assured that the air in their home that is coming from the space is free of mold and is purified and clean.

If you find that you are sneezing a lot or you always seem to have a cold, it may be allergens that are in your home. Mold, dust mites, and other pests can cause allergic reactions in people who are sensitive to them. In fact, mold will cause an allergic reaction in more than half the people who are exposed to it. If you have children in your home, these types of allergens cause be of a great concern. If you have a crawl space underneath your home, that is your number one spot that your allergens may be coming from. A humid environment is home to so many different organisms and pests, that your crawl space may be covered in mold, mildew or dust mites. These things get into the air and are able to enter into the air in your home, which then triggers your allergies. When you place a dehumidifier in your crawl space, you eliminate the humidity, which eliminates your allergens. This means that you can now breathe easy in your home since the air is purified and clean from the dehumidifier.

If you have excess moisture in your crawl space, it is a wise decision to use a dehumidifier down there to purify your home's air and make you and your family much healthier.
